SUNNY SARID
DJ, Restauranteur and MD

He is heading the company "Sound of Music" and personally looks after the Promotions, Marketing Strategies, Infrastructure set-up, Discotheque & Club equipment installation, Consultancy services and a DJ Training School.

He has been in the entertainment and DJ circuit for the last fifteen years. He started off his career as a DJ at the discotheque Ghungroo and gradually started managing its operations as well its entertainment services, successfully for ITCWelcomgroup Maurya Sheraton Hotel and Towers in India.

He is a qualified Sound Engineer from the School of Audio Engineering, London.

Sunny Sarid is the only DJ in India to receive "The Rajiv Gandhi Award" for his outstanding performance and achievements in 1995. He had released his own Remix Album "Club class" with a premium recording company Magnasound in 1997. He won the 555 DMC World Mixing Championship India 1998 - Title and was the first Indian to represent India in Paris for theDMCWorld DJ Mixing Championship. He also won The Channel [V] Music Award for the Best Club DJ-1998.

"Sound of Music" came into being on April 1, 1995

The Company is a virtual One-Shop-Stop for everything that comes under the banner of entertainment. It has divisions dedicated to providing DJ's for Private Parties Club Installations & Consultancy, Theme parties and other Entertainment extravaganzas.

1989-92
Meher Sarid started her career at Hotel Hyatt Regency and then at The ITC Welcomgroup Maurya Sheraton hotel and Towers, New Delhi after completing a Diploma in Hotel Management & Catering Technology.

She also completed a number of vocational courses in Painting, Travel and Tourism, Ikebana- Japanese art of flower arranging. Eventually she did her specialization in Theme parties & Wedding management and mastered the Art of Banqueting.

1992-97
Subsequently she traveled abroad to assimilate the styles & trends of International Banqueting & Interior consultancy while being based in Hong Kong for six years, whilst pursuing a career in flying and recruiting /training air hostesses for an international airline Cathay Pacific.

1998
On her return to India in 1998 she became the Director and Creative Head of Sound Of Music. The Entertainment Company. Her division takes over the complete design & management of thematic events. This was India's First One Stop Shop for Wedding Arrangements, from where the entire industry began to grow.

FLOWERS ETC
The company also boasts of an in-house floral division "Flowers etc." that was set up in July 1999, which specializes in elaborate floral setups to compliment any party be it a wedding or a formal corporate event, sending bouquets or contractual florals at offices.

WEDDING ART
Our in-house fabrication unit "Wedding Art", handles head to toe fabrication of structures for any Theme or Décor requirement. This unit has skilled workers for Wooden Carving, Wrought Iron Props, Tailoring and Embroidery, Fancy Table Linen.
